A few likely questions
Why not usage-based or per-seat pricing?
Your usage data never leaves your machine, so we have no way to meter it — and wouldn't want to. A flat yearly license is the only model that doesn't require phoning home.
What happens when the license expires?
Output drops back to what the free scan shows. Nothing is deleted; renewing just unlocks it again.
Can I run it for a client without them seeing our license?
Yes — the license stays on your own machine, never inside a client's Datadog org.
